The provider is not immediately available during normal business hours but will return your call as soon as available. The provider is not available at all during closed hours. If you are having an emergency or crisis during closed hours, go to the Emergency room, call 911, or call your primary care provider.

We are maintaining our normal business hours during COVID-19. We have taken several measures to reduce contact including, but not limited to:

Keeping the door open at all times during business hours, limit the number of patients in the lobby, taking temperatures as you walk into the office, wiping surfaces frequently, and now most, or all providers are working from home.

Olympic Psychiatric Care is happy to tell you that we have been offering telehealth since September 2019 and Becky is now also offering telehealth so that we can reduce contact and stop the spread of coronavirus.

Beginning March 6, 2020, and announced on March 17, 2020, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services have expanded care to cover telehealth not only in rural areas but across the country. Prior to this temporary solution, telehealth was only covered in designated qualifying rural areas to bring healthcare to communities where there is a lack of providers, and a patient would need to come to their Doctor's office or "Originating site" to meet with a provider over live video, and the provider is located at the "distant site". However, at this time, patients are temporarily able to have their mental health visits from their place of residence using a combination of audio and video such as VSEE, a HIPAA-compliant software that is downloaded onto your phone or computer.

Although we prefer to see a patient in-person, we are happy to be able to provide continuity of care for those who cannot leave their home or who are unsure if they should. We also want to reiterate that this new type of appointment is only covered for a temporary time under President's Trumps Declaration of National Emergency and coverage for this type of appointment with end, once the National Emergency has ended.

As mentioned, we prefer to see patients in-person and are continuing to be in the office during this time. However, if you have ANY signs of sickness, DO NOT COME to the office and have your appointment at home. Let us know in advance.

Payment of your balance, co-payment, coinsurance, deductible, and any fees are due before or at the time services are rendered. If payment or a payment plan cannot be made, the appointment will be cancelled and cannot be rescheduled until payment is made.

We have a 24-hour Cancellation Policy. We charge $50 for a no-show or same-day cancellation unless it is an emergency.

The provider does not provide any medication management over the phone or without an appointment, but if you have a question  or would like to talk directly with your provider, please provide verbal consent for this and send a message using your Patient Portal. The provider can respond to you during normal business hours.

If you do not provide verbal consent to allow the provider to bill insurance for communication outside of an appointment, the provider will charge a professional fee of $190 an hour, billed in 5-minute increments, which is not covered by insurance, for any service performed such as a phone call, prescription refill, or paperwork.
